The group’s name NaCls (na-kəls or knuckles) is basically taken from the chemical compound Sodium Chloride - a chemical formula of salt. The letter “s” was affixed at the end since they are six in the group.

NaCls (Knuckles) Nathan's bass playing seminar presented by Yamaha Philippines Inc. last March 18, 2008. NaCls played 3 songs before Nathan. This happened a week after the Asian Beat Grand Finals in Taiwan.
