Hey Guys, just wanted to help answer some of your questions specifically regarding heating temperature and Nalgene bottles. The best resource to find out about the temperature rating and spectrum for each bottle type (along with other details about your bottle like material make-up,wasing instructions and so on) is www.nalgenechoice.com
and www.nalgene-outdoor.com to learn more about recent updates from Nalgene. Thanks! Caroline (Nalgene)

My brother broke a Nalgene and they had to try very hard to break it they left the lid open and poured all the water out then beat it to death with a 2x2 piece of steel. I dropped mine off of a 60 foot cliff half full of water and it just got a little dent and some scratches.

Where did the Nalgenes go?
