Middlesex University’s Creative and Media Writing Programme hosts the Writer For Lunch series, which gives students and the local community the opportunity to find out a little more about well known writers and about what it’s like to work as a writer. Each week a different writer will talk about their writing and expe...riences, following which attendees will get the chance to ask questions.
Nalo Hopkinson is a Jamaican Canadian writer who has written historical fiction, fantasy and science fiction and won awards for all three. Her latest novel is The New Moon’s Arms, a magical realist book that has just won Canada’s Sunburst Award.
