Studies have shown that music can have a dramatic affect not only on intensity, but consistency. It's not that one is necessarily "better" than the other it's simply the fact that if you exercise in the morning, it's done and you're ready to greet... the day energized and focused!

I'd like to ask my fitness professionals to offer their suggestions. Still, too many are opting for processed foods that are "low-fat" or "low calorie" without considering the content of food. Nothing is easier then to grab a piece of fresh fruit or fresh veggies that you've washed, cut up and store in a little water in the fridge. I like Sulagna idea of adding a spoonful of organic almond/peanut butter to the veggie or fruit to provide protein and fat.

You ladies got it down - fresh fruit & veggies work everytime! A little almond butter is a nice treat - I have to admit I also like plain cubed tofu too (I know I know - but I like it :) Another nice treat is fresh baked multi grain bread, thinly sliced - get a little hummous... yum!
