Laura Yax Maloney hi all. i have to use silver nitrate on hypergranulation tissue on monday. i've never used it before, i've got the procedure down but i want to know if it hurts the patient when applied....any advice would be great....thanks!

Hi Peggy, its not necessary to have a BSN if certifying with the National Alliance of Wound Care they give you the WCC (wound care certified) The WCC is the largest multidisciplinary group in the US. Nancy, Thank you for the quick reply. What about the 120 hour preceptorship for my hands-on training? Is that a part of WCEI's curriculum? I absolutely would want that.
Can you compare the WCC vs the CWCA certification for me? Which one is more respected and recognized?
