Seems like the H1N1 is not the only thing you have to worry about! Make sure you have anti Virus and Anti Spyware software on your computers and servers. And more importantly make sure they are up to date and scheduled to run at least once a week! If you need help or guidance just post here or give us a call.

Happy Tuesday from IntegrityNETworx. I just wanted to share this wonderful video with you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-o VI

Let's say you receive a friend request from someone you met one time at a networking luncheon. You'd like to network with them, but you don't know them well enough to let them see your dumb quizzes or pictures from girls night out ;)...

What is a browser? was the question we asked over 50 passersby of different ages and backgrounds in the Times Square in New York. Watch the many responses people came up with.

Ok here's my first useful tip: Social Networking is only valuable for business if it is used to cultivate REAL relationships with real people rather than simply to acquire as many networking contacts as possible. I love this video of Seth Godin expounding upon that concept. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0h0LlCu8 Ks ~Melanie

Godin describes the value for businesses. Used at http://innerpreneuring.com/report/2009/August/19/254/.

Apparently facebook links do indeed pass link juice (which contribute to your search engine rankings). Check out this post http://blog.hubspot.com/blog/tabid/6307/ bid/4640/Facebook-Gives-SEO-Credit-to-Li nks-in-FBML-Applications.aspx that describes how to use FBML (facebook markup language) to insert a link into your p...age (that will be followed and indexed by google). I'm gonna have to test this to see if its still true. FYI Facebook.com is one of the Top 20 most important (trusted/authoritative) domains on the web according to SEOmoz.org so a link from them that gets followed and indexed is a good one to have.

Interesting post on SEOmoz.org about how SEO campaigns should target phrases that apply to all phases of the sales cycle. I swear I was just discussing this with a client last week. Rand Fishkin made a cute little chart to illustrate what a typical person might go through when making decisions on the web and how that... might affect their search behavior depending on where they are in the buying process. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/winning-the-s eo-battle-at-every-step-of-the-purchase- path

The search engine optimization process can sometimes be mistaken for a singular,sprint-to-the-finish project, when in fact, it's more like a marathon. Searchers rarely ever convert on the first click ...
