Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity Best wishes to NAHFH board member Fred Standish, who is volunteering for Habitat for Humanity's Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter Work Project 2009 in Chiang Mai, Thailand this week! Chiang Mai is the main host site for the project this year, with 3,000 volunteers. Eighty two simple, decent homes will be built in partnership with low-income families in northern Thailand.
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity is proud to report that 100 percent of its 326 active mortgages were paid on time, resulting in a first-ever delinquency rate of zero percent, despite the economic downturn. Habitat families' incomes range from $20,000-$30,000 per year.
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity Tomorrow Nashville Area Habitat's family services director will lead the second of a two-part Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Education course for associates of Goodwill Industries. The course covers topics of financial management, understanding credit, getting a mortgage loan, shopping for a home and maintaining a home.
