Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity Tomorrow Nashville Area Habitat's family services director will lead the second of a two-part Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Education course for associates of Goodwill Industries. The course covers topics of financial management, understanding credit, getting a mortgage loan, shopping for a home and maintaining a home.
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity Volunteers from the production of Little House on the Prairie: The Musical helped plant trees in Timberwood. The trees were donated by Nashville Electric Service (NES), which has helped build seven Nashville Area Habitat homes for hardworking families. Tennessee Environmental Council executive director John McFadden was there to lead the project.

Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity Shop at Ashley Furniture's Madison, Brentwood or Murfreesboro locations tonight between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. A portion of sales during this one-time event will go to Nashville Area Habitat.

Marta Sanchez We are all having a great time here in Atlanta. The weather, the food, and the PEOPLE - it has all be great. Elvis even made an appearance! We worked on decking and started siding today. Tomorrow - more siding and shingles. We are moving right along. The houses look great and the neighborhood has lots of older trees. Its a wonderful setting and will be a really nice place for these families.
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity sends best wishes to Stan Powell, John Hawkins, Elaine Townes and Marta Sanchez for a great fourth annual Whirlpool Building Blocks! They have traveled to Atlanta to help build homes for hardworking families. This year's Building Blocks is a collaboration between Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity.
Nashville Area Habitat for Humanity The upcoming national tour of Little House on the Prairie: The Musical will support the mission and work of Habitat for Humanity. Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) will host the musical production in Nashville October 27 through November 1 as part of the 2009-2010 HCA/TriStar Broadway at TPAC series.
