Arlund Imagery Mid October Workshop in Michigan. If your a photographer what would you like to know most? Lighting, posing, influence, attitudes on business, more art related - leading lines, composition. What makes and image really good. Any thoughts would be great.

Portraits should be full of energy and fun. Don't take your kids to a strange place with a strange person and big lights. That sounds like a Dentist office. Let the photographer come to you.Chuck Arlund ...

Do you have a digital camera that you would really like to understand? Are you an advanced photographer that would like to learn more about lighting or anything else?Chuck will tailor your session to you. This makes these sessions more valuable than a workshop with multiple photographers.

9am-9:45: Arrive and have coffee and sn...acks, Get to know each other- Officially start at 10am
10 am - Take My Portrait. This will be one on one and I need some new Avatars. LOL The purpose of this is to see where you are and how you take photos.
After we are done I want to talk about what everyone did and discuss Natural light. How to find good light. How to "see" the light. This is very David Williams influenced. Call this, creating a good portrait in an unfamiliar location quickly.
We will be going to lunch somewhere Downtown KC. Hopefully BB-Q (Jacks Stack) We have terrible BB-Q in Nashville. At lunch I would like for us to discuss Business in this new market and The reason why we take photos.
After Lunch we will get into Off Camera Lights on Location and a model or two. We will also shoot our own textures that we will use in post processing later.
We will then go back to the house and talk a bit about workflow and I will show you how I process an image and then have everyone process a couple of there images.
I also would like to take a look at some images and portfolios of yours. So bring some photos and an Album if you would like.
This is going to be quick and a little crazy, kind of like me.
This is my inaugural workshop/seminar so you are getting me cheap. $150. Lunch will be Dutch.
Please let me know what day works best, Thursday 23rd or Friday 24th of April.
If there is anything you would like to add please let me know and I will try and work it in.
We should be done around 6pm but I can go a lot longer if needed. Thursday is the very best day for me.
Thanks for everyones interest.
Chuck
