January Art Party will be held at Center of Symmetry on Friday, January 15th, 2010 from 5 - 9 p.m.
Ten to twelve artists will participate. You can expect to see paintings, photos, ceramics, jewelry and leather work.
Center of Symmetry is located inside an old Victorian style home. Art will be on display in several rooms ...on the first and second floors of the building. Many items will be for sale.
Center of Symmetry's retail space will also be open and visitors may purchase chair massages for $1/minute and readings for $2/minute.
In addition to some great art you will also enjoy appetizers, beverages, music and door prizes throughout the evening.
* Musician Tom Shinness (http://www.tomshinness.com) will perform.
It's going to be a great evening, so drop by at your convenience, browse for awhile and chat with the artists and Symmetry's staff.
Look for the "ArtistsInNashville.com" banner at the front of the property.

On Wednesday, December 2, 2009, Artists In Nashville will hold its first monthly meeting at Center of Symmetry, 212 Louise Street, Nashville, TN 37203 (next to Cafe Coco in West End). The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m.
All visual artists are welcome - you do not have to be a member of ArtistsInNashville.com to attend....
The meeting is also open to gallery owners, art suppliers, art enthusiasts and owners/representatives of 'other art-supporting' businesses.

The meeting will begin with ArtistsInNashville.com Founder, Melody Erickson, speaking on the following topics:
* Who/What is Artists In Nashville?
* Benefits of membership in ArtistsInNashville.com (includes live demo of website)
* How to get the most out of your web membership
* Alternatives to a web membership
We'll continue with an open discussion of:
* How to best share resources with a goal of growing our individual art businesses
* Brainstorming topics for future meetings
