Being able to get lost mentally and into my project and forget about everything else. Having God guide my mind and my hands and seeing the fabric come to life.

I suppose I will get to that place of loosing myself in the fabric once I stop focusing on the process of quilting. I love the idea of taking what you have and making something new and nurturing. (Fallon)

I love choosing fabrics and standing there interviewing which ones to use with each other. And then watching them evolve, compete with each other, come together, and flow one into the other. Amazing. Completely amazing. I love writing, which is another art form. But quilting gives a more immediate sense of accomplishment. With writing there's never a sense of satisfaction.
