NANN is very much behind evidence-based practice. They base almost everything on research.

thanks to all the NANN members who stopped me in the Austin airport to give me your comments about the conference. Also to the two who sat beside me on the plane, who were first time attendees and told me how much they loved it. Rest assured your ideas and comments will be discussed to make improvements for next year.

I applaud NANN for their efforts and am proud to be a member of an organization who supports Obama and his administration's efforts to reform health care. My prayer is that everyone in Washington can work together to find a solution that will be acceptable to everyone. This health care problem has gone on for generations and we need a solution sooner than later. Why do we all have to be so angry at one another? Can't we work together and get along?

I am a NANN member who has grown up with government funded health care all my life and worked in health care for the last 30 years in Canada. Instead of being scared to try a different way, become educated about the advantages and disadvantages of each type of system. Of the top ten countries in the world with the lowest infant mortality rate ... See MoreCanada is number 3 and United States is at least number 7, yets spends more on health care than any other developed country. Obama may not be a God, but he is Godlike for wanting to try a different way to get closer to universal health care for all the people he is responsible for. Knowledge is power and NANN's advocacy committee can help members to educate and advise members and governments on now to preserve the healthcare of women and children as your country tries to reform health care. I'm proud to be a Canadian NANN member and would love to discuss the differences in our health care systems and can help dispel the myths that prevail.

I agree about learning the pros and cons of this proposed health care reform. Change is very difficult but we have to check other options and have an open mind about it. I am proud to be a NANN member!!!
