Richard: read the Bible, and then read some Biblical scholars - "abomination" does not mean what you think it means...

Tom: way to bring the bigotry home - no thank you, dammit.

Dawn: Mexico City will have gay marriage - but the rest of Mexico is mostly run by conservative politicos who are against it. It really will depend on where one lives and works.

Julie, I agree, it's a 14th amendment issue. In the meantime, we don't vote for the lesser of two evils. We don't vote for evil. The Green Party has consistently advocated equality and has not broken promises to us. I refuse to vote for either Dems or Repugs.

Sorry, I don't see the logic in that kind of voting... If the Green party does't have enough polling support at election time... I still wouldn't want the greater of two evils in office pushing our movement backwards... it seems that the Greater of the two evils will be counting on our wasted votes. I'll wait to weigh the Green or No Green decision at the gates.

You really got it right. Just one more case where religion can be dangerous to the down trodden. The extreemests will do anything and say God is on their side. Is their God a biggot?

Some bigots don't care! Everyone should have the same rights that I have. I am ashamed of my state of California for passing prop. 8. I thought we were more evolved than that.

National Equality March Have you met with your Representative about ENDA yet? What are you willing to do if ENDA hasn't passed the House by mid-February?

speakforequality.org
Yesterday we had our second visit with Dan Bernal in Speaker Pelosi’s office. We invited them to join us in mid-February at a rally in San Francisco to celebrate the passage of ENDA. If ENDA hasn’t passed yet, we’ll still get together, but we’ll be sad and angry instead, and we don’t know what we'll...

It will get thru the House. We are close in the Senate, but plans are to attach ENDA to something in the Senate.

I agree that its time to fight back but not with violence. We need to withhold our gay money, lobby hard, vote in mass numbers, make phone calls, boycott the haters, protest and not stop until this MADNESS has ended! We should have EQUAL HUMAN RIGHTS PERIOD! Not state to state or "different" rights! We need to stop bitching and start a revolution!!! No one will give us our rights ( sad but true!) -we must take them! Power to the people!
