National Labor Committee Bangladeshi shipbreakers face death, disfigurement, and paralysis on a daily basis as they dismantle the worldwide shipfleet on the coast of Bangladesh. Earning starvation wages, these young workers (many of them children) can only dream of earning 60 cents an hour. In 30 years' time, international organizations such as the G-20 and the ILO have done nothing to improve these workers' plight.
