Shaun Ruge Now I know why I didn't limit out, I only hit half the fields I thought I hit. These are the Quail fields at Crane reservation in Falmouth MA. Last good weekend of Bird season in MA was this weekend. This track was recorded with the Navionics Mobile East app.

Selim Artış i just tried the app for i phone this weekend. I think it is very good, especially for the price. Only if WP feautre was a bit better ie. only if it showed heading and bearing together above the map and VMG and update the bearing while sailing iw would have been more than perfect

Sherry Abernathy Reinheardt When will the 2010 version of Hotmaps be available?

Marianne: Making the jump to the professional level of tournament fishing was a great experience. I was unsure how the other anglers would react to a young female joining the pro side, but each and every one was welcoming and very professional at all times.

This weekend I went fishing arrround the waters in La Paz, Mexico, and I had the chance to try Navionics Mobile and it is simply GREAT !! I will not leave the dock without my IPhone...Now, if you could only place a "Trip log" option, with a start and end button, to have elapsed time, distance, fuel consuption, etc, it ...would be excelent....

This weekend I participated in a Chuckar (bird in the partridge family I believe) tournament. this was on a preserve that we had never been on located up in Ossipee New Hampshire (I live in Mass).
The other teams were members of the preserve and so had a home field advantage by knowing the lay of the land. I used th......e Navionics Mobile East App to track our wandering through the woods. This was "traditional New England" cover. Meaning, thick pines and scrub brush where half the time you could barely even see our Springer Spaniel 15 yards away. Having never been there, all the woods looked alike. Using the app helped to keep a record of where we had gone. We could easily see where we had been so we could cover our entire area even without ever having been there before and mark where the dog put up birds. Honesltly, without the Navionics app we would have wandered over the same woods repeatedly, missing oportunities for hiding birds, and wandered out of our assigned tournament area.
This helped us retireive 19 Chuckar in 3 hours. Not enough to win, but respectable given the conditions worked against us. I'm glad I brought it along.Read MoreRead More
