As a little competition, a group decided not to shave in January. I thought it was a good chance to play with some off-camera flash and work on my portrait photography.

I can be quite bad about posting my pictures sometimes. These pictures were taken on 1 Feb 2009 after a massive snowfall in London. About half the amount is required to completely shut-down the country, so the following day was a work-from-home day.

Today we cover my pets. A couple of magpies that nest outside of the flat in London. They are quite social, in fact they regularly fly to the window and peck at the glass until I look at them and acknowledge their presence...
