Valerie you might like this too. I'm sitting in the FBI office and they're questioning me about my brother's dissapearance. They asked me why I never emailed my brother if he was away for 2 years, because most of the emails were from him to me. I said, no need. He knew my schedule and would find me with yahoo chat, even fro...m the the most tiny village that had a computer. Yahoo is how we communicated for 2 years, because it was free and just as good as a phone call.

Valerie Hey Neal, I thought you'd be the perfect person to ask. My brother Sam backpacked for 2 years through Mexico, Central Am., and South America. He has been missing for 3 years and I'm finally able to open these pictures. I have tons of emails with lots and lots of pictures in my yahoo account. Is there a simple way to sa...ve them to my computer as a batch from each email or do I have to save each picture one-by one? I want to make a picture book and it has been too painful to read them again and finally I'm getting the courage.

There's no super-easy way to do it today. You can download every picture in a single email message with one click, but downloading every picture in every message is still a bit of a chore. There's a program coming along that will allow you to do it (MyPhotos by Xoopit), but you have to sign up for the beta: http://overview.mail.yahoo.com/applications

Hey! In Mail Classic there is something that might help. If you can pull all the emails up in a Search from within Mail, and then go to Photo View (that's an option in the search results), you can then "check all" and "Save to Computer" - which gives you an option to download all the pics you selected. There is a "Zip and Download Files" from ... See Morethere. Its a little known feature, but pretty cool and not available in the "New Pretty" Yahoo Mail, only from the old Classic interface.
