I started using NYR products in the early 90s, due to my disappointment with the Bodyshop...some might say a bit pricey, but well worth every penny!

Ok its official - Yarrow and comfrey moisturiser really does make a huge difference. I have been using it for over two years and I ran out recently and those under the eye lines re appeared and my skin became tight and unhealthy looking even with another moisturiser.......its the ONLY product my skin likes and I will be using it for ever.

Campaigns

Stress Down Day

Samaritans is a charity that provides completely confidential emotional support 24 hours a day in the UK and Republic of Ireland by phone, face to face, letter and email. Samaritans believes that being listened to in confidence, without fear of being judged, can alleviate feelings of distress, including those which may lead to suicide.

Chicken Out!

Chicken Out! is celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's campaign for fairer conditions for chickens. Intensively farmed chickens spend their short lives in terrible conditions in order to drive the price down to fuel supermarket price wars. Chicken Out! aims to raise awareness of these issues and asks consumers to consider free range chickens instead. .

Traid

Textile Recycling for Aid and International Development (TRAID) is a charity committed to protecting the environment and reducing world poverty by recycling and campaigning at home. Funds raised in the UK by TRAID through the collection and sale of reclaimed clothing and shoes help to divert waste from landfill and further sustainable development projects in some of the poorest regions of the world.
Since 1999, TRAID has raised over £1million for 26 projects in 16 countries.
TRAID has nine shops in London and Brighton, and over 900 clothing banks situated all over the UK.

No More Breast Cancer Campaign

The No More Breast Cancer campaign was launched in 2005 with the publication of a ground-breaking report entitled, 'Breast cancer: an environmental disease'. Those working on the No More Breast Cancer initiative have campaigned for many years to raise awareness and action on the links between environmental pollutants and breast cancer. The campaign calls on government, industry and mainstream cancer charities to take seriously the link between man-made chemicals and breast cancer.

Foresight

Established in 1978, Foresight is a charitable organisation, whose primary role is to promote the importance of good health and nutritional status in both parents before conceiving a baby, and to provide sensible, achievable information and advice on how to do this .

Friends of the Earth

Friends of the Earth are the UK's most influential environmental campaign group. They have inspired many of the biggest wins for the planet - from curbing acid rain to laws bringing recycling to every doorstep and, through their Big Ask campaign, ensuring the UK takes a lead in tackling climate change. Most of the money they spend comes from their supporters in the UK - part of the world's largest environmental network - acting together to make life better now and for future generations. .

Women's Environmental Network

Formed in 1988, WEN is a registered charity and the only organisation in the UK working consistently for women and the environment. They seek to empower women to make positive environmental changes and have done ground-breaking work on toxic chemicals in cosmetics and household products, among other issues. .
