Necklaces & Ties Let's get together for our last Necklaces & Ties Meeting! December 19 at 10.30 Belgrano Coffee Store!

Necklaces & Ties
We have really enjoyed today's meeting quite a lot! Thanks for joining in with all your creative potencial! Working together on selfishness/selflessness/self-interested ness and related topics, gave us the opportunity to go on exploring and discovering who we really are and what we really want... making this experience very rewarding!

Necklaces & Ties Reading “The Book” The author says in the excellent chapter “So What?”: “We are gulping down undigested experiences as fast as we can stuff them in – because awareness of our own existence is so superficial and so narrow that nothing seems to us more boring than simple being. Is it surprising that an existence so experienced seems so empty and bare that its hunger for an infinite future is insatiable?”

Necklaces & Ties "The goal of action is always contemplation - knowing and being rather than seeking and becoming." Aristotle

Necklaces & Ties Next meeting coming soon! November 14th at 10.30 A.M. Hope to see everybody there to enjoy another creative meeting!

Necklaces & Ties "Life must be lived as a game - and the "must" here espresses a condition, not a commandment. It must be lived in the spirit of play rather than work, and the conflicts which it involves must be carried on in the realization that in order to survive this game,we need its indispensable opponents." Allan Watts "the Book"

Necklaces & Ties "In one case out of a hundred a point is excessively discussed because it is obscure; in the ninety-nine remaining it is obscure because it is excessively discussed." Edgar Allan Poe.

Necklaces & Ties Some of our students are reading: "The Purloin Letters" by Edgar Allan Poe. So here's one of his quotes we have found interesting to share...

Necklaces & Ties Thanks everybody for joining in our last "Necklaces & Ties" meeting! As always it turned out to be so amazing... working on "self-deception", such a controversial topic, was really a great adventure we have shared!
