This October 2008, we will conduct the inaugural “Trek for Freedom.” This has been designed as a way to promote awareness and literally rescue children who have been sold. Alps in Nepal Trekking will lead a 15-day base camp trek in which one half of the fees will go to Nepal Orphans Home, Inc. and SWAN in order to rescue 10 more Kamlari girls and bring them home to “Lawajuni,” the Nepal Orphans Home-run shelter.Read More
