Nevada Women's Lobby August 26, 2009 marks the 89th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which granted full voting rights to women in the U.S. Fun fact: NV granted voting rights to women in 1914, a full six years before it would become a federal constitutional amendment. Tomorrow, on your commute, remember Anne Martin and other suffragists, traveling in a Model T across NV, making about 15 miles per day in their quest for the vote.
