i use the lesllie sansone 5 day slim down dvd..its got 5 different miles on it...that way i always know for sure how many miles i walked.it def makes ya work up a sweat.lol.i been doing 4 miles a day.

I did my first 5K at the age of 58. I had never before done any competition remotely athletic (never played sports in school). My goal was to finish, and I did. Since then, I attempt to do a 5K or (gasp!) 10K every month during the spring and summer. Since I concentrate on walking and jogging, I see everyone else's dust, but that's all right - I compete against my own times. Who would have thought a couch-potato grandma could do this?
