FYI - Presntation on the Eye Project in Indonesia Sunday August 17th

I thought I would send out an email to let you all know about a presentation that we are giving this weekend at our church. Please join us this Sunday from 9:30 to 10:30 am for a presentation about global blindness in the developing world and get an update on the eye project we are involved with in Indonesia. We hope the presentation will help raise awareness of the scope of the global need for eye care in the developing world as well as how Christian eye ministry can help people gain not only physical but also spiritual sight.

Anyone who is interested is more than welcome to come.

The Gathering will be a time for renewal, refocusing and reunion. On Saturday, October 25th, 2008 (the day after our 30th Anniversary Celebration Banquet), we will be welcoming researcher, writer, and 21st century Christian commentator George Barna as the keynote speaker at our first Tentmakers Servant Leader Gathering, to be held at Colonial Church in Edina, Minnesota. Barna is one of the most quoted and prolific (over 35 books) Christian writers, today, and will offer his thoughts on the “revolution” that is taking place in post-modern America within the Christian community along with a time for Questions and Answers.
