A few experienced new media producers will be on hand to answer questions, solve technical problems, talk about the creative aspects of making cross-platform video, etc in a casual atmosphere. This event is 1...00% n00b friendly. Do you know a filmmaker, actor, or writer curious about new media? Perfect. Bring your questions and don't be shy.

Office Hours is very informal. Come and go as you please!

Liberty Ale House in Santa Monica has some good space in the back. Will try to think of other ideas as well.

They are in Westwood Village--Palomino or Napa Valley Grill. They have large tables and also decent areas at the bar for talking and the like. In terms of parking, which can be a challenge...there is a lot on Broxton, south of Conte which is eith $2 or fee for first two hours.

SAG's New Media Contract in its current form gives no consideration to the independent producers low budget needs. This post covers what it contains."New Media" has become a huge conflict point in the Screen Actors Guild's negotiations with producers, and even within the guild itself. ...
