New Ulm, Minnesota Book Signings: Edna Thayer, author of the book "Feisty Lydia, Memoirs of a German War Bride" will be at the Country Loft on Saturday November 14th from 1-4 PM. The book is a personal story of a woman born in 1925 in Germany. It follows her life from surviving the war and moving to Minnesota.

New Ulm, Minnesota Book Signings: Renee Wendinger, Sleepy Eye Author of Orphan, Trains will be at Sven & Ole's Books from 10:30-12:30; and from 1-4 at the Country Loft. Orphan Trains is a collection of stories of children that were put up for adoption who then boarded trains bound for the cities of their adoptive parents. Wendinger is the daughter of an orphan train rider.
