It wasn't so much the excellent advice provided in "The Practice of Adaptive Leadership", more the sense that it was coming from the heart/guts, that evokes, for me, followship.
A thought: add to the repertoire the discipline of value networks and analysis (VNA) to choreograph the dance between balcony and the practice field.
