About Us
Animal Haven is a nonprofit organization that finds homes for abandoned cats and dogs throughout the Tri-State area, and provides behavior intervention when needed to improve chances of adoption. Founded in 1967, we operate a limited admission shelter/adoption center in Manhattan and mobile adoption van. We also provide programs that enhance the bond between animals and people.

Romeowas brought to us when his owner passed away. He is a little shy in new settings, but once hebecomes comfortable,he's sweet as can be!He loves to be pet and scratched by volunteers and would do great in a quiet home with lotsof love.

Bowman is a very active and smart boy who was found as a stray by the city shelter. He would love a home that will keep him mentally and physically stimulated and help him to grow! He is about 25-30 pounds right now, butwill mostlikely get a little larger as he matures.
