Darling Dexter

After plenty of family get-togethers, and southern food goodness, the holidays have come to a close and the hub and I are now preparing for our move to NYC in less than two weeks...

What a darling year! I can't believe 2009 is coming to a close but I feel so blessed to have shared my thoughts, inspirations, and projects here on Darling Dexter...

It's way past time to tell anyone what I'd like for Christmas  but post-holiday is the perfect time for self-purchases :) Starting with this braided loop scarf from Uniform Natural.

I've never really thought much about bathroom floor tiles. I mean, I'm a renter and can't even imagine buying anytime soon, so choices for flooring never really crossed my mind. However, when I saw Rebecca's bathroom renovation and her use of black floor tiling, it really caught my attention...

The newest season of Project Runway starts in January and I already have a favorite. I love the work from Anna Lynett, simple color palette, lovely construction, and a nod to school uniforms. Who knows how the show will shape out .....

Blog friends are the best. I had a special holiday package in the mail today from the lovely Danni filled with goodies. Thanks so much Danni! 

We've reached moving day and we're headed to our hometown for the holidays, moving truck and all. All of the Savannah squares have been decorated for the holidays and this little church stuck out to me on one of our last evening walks. You can see more of my photos from our walk on Oh, Darling...

Without a doubt, the thing I'll miss most about Savannah is taking walks downtown with the hub and pup in the early evening. Everything you've ever heard about Savannah, the charm, the homes, the moss, it's true and it's so nice to wander street to street.
