Celebrated Native artists offer a weekend of demonstrations and lectures focused on the designs and traditions of their Native cultures. Demonstrations will include horse hair basket weaving, ledger art, bead and quill work.
Featured in the program will be a tour of A Song of a Horse Nation by curator and bead worker, E...mil Her Many Horses (Oglala Lakota). Featured will be ledger artist Thomas Haukaas (Lakota), doll artist Donna Shakespeare Cummings (Arapaho), weaver Louann Shannon (Tohono Oodham), and quillwork artists D.
