New York 3D is one of the six founding franchises in the Championship Gaming Series. CGS is the first and only worldwide professional gaming league which is broadcast on DIRECTV. Sixty gamers were drafted to one of six franchises where they became salaried players, living and competing in Los Angeles, California to win millions of dollars in prize money. The games of choice are Counter-Strike: Source (PC), Dead or Alive 4 (Xbox 360) with each team having one male and one female, FIFA 08 (PC) and Forza Motorsport 2 (Xbox 360).

On March 9, 2008 at SXSW, Manager Dave "moto" Geffon drafted the following gamers to join the globally recognized New York 3D.
