We think you can use a weekend getaway so we are offering a contest in partnership with Body of Truth Holistic Spas. Winner receives accommodations, spa treatment and a workshop.


Overview of the Contest:

The Body of Truth Holistic Spas is offering one lucky person a chance to win a Mind, Body & Spirit weekend getaway, Friday & Saturday Dec 4th & 5th valued at $600. The winner can bring a friend although only one person is eligible for the spa treatment and workshop. Body of Truth is located in the beautiful mid-Hudson valley of NY and is less than 2 hours away from New York on the Metro North train from Grand Central station (contest winner will be picked up on arrival at the train station and whisked off to a wooded autumn paradise). The contest deadline is Wednesday, Dec 2nd at 11:00am and the winner will be announced Wed Dec 2nd at 6:00pm. The requirement of entry is to become a fan of the Body of Truth's Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/bodyoftruthspas and post onto The Open Center’s Facebook wall AND the wall of Body of Truth your name and “a memorable moment when your intuition served you well” in less than 100 words. One entry per person please.

Winner receives


* Scholarship to the full day workshop "Tap Into your Psychic and Intuitive Abilities" with Intuitive Life Coach, Zela Rodriguez. (valued at $150)
* 2 night stay at the gorgeous retreat center located on 160 secluded acres of woods, with 2 ponds and roaming llamas, horses and peacocks that have been rescued from a local animal shelter (valued at $300)

Open Center

We are looking for bold and fresh new ideas for our first catalog cover for 2010. We would love to see what our Facebook community wants to see on our cover. The sky is the limit with creative ideas so we are reaching out to our graphic designer, photographer and illustrator friends to come up with what could be a fabulous new catalog cover for us.

We do so many wonderful things so we would love to see how you represent up an urban oasis in the heart of new york city with images, colors and fonts all in one cover. Original photography, illustration and computer generated images are all welcome. You can submit as many cover concepts as you want. The winner will receive $200 in cash or credit to use at the Open Center if your design is chosen.

There are a few rules.
