Gay people can go to the same schools as straight people, they can sit in same parks as straight people they can work in same offices as straight people and they can even get married like straight people, (provided that it is with someone of the opposite sex - just like straight people) There is not a single thing in the way the state treats gay ... What the senate is trying to pass would give a new special right that never existed in the history of mankind.
Anyone is entitled to interpret the Bible as they please, however, they cannot force the rest of us to interpret the Bible as they please. This bill would force people of New York to recognize marriages that they do not consider to be legitimate marriages.

There are still some people who don't consider marriages between one man and one woman to be legitimate if the partners are not of the same race or faith. Your church's right not to celebrate a particular marriage is different from its not being recognized under civil law.

Senator Adams, I want others to know why I'm such a fan. I was feeling sad and worried that the NYSenate would not even put Marriage Equality up for a vote tomorrow. I wrote you, a fierce ally and co-sponsor of the bill, to please do everything you can to make sure the vote happens, win or lose. Within 10, you respo...nded:

"Jake, don't loose faith as long. As I am up
here we will have a chance. I promise you that I will do all that I can
to make this important issue a reality."

Jennyfer Causer Due to some or a computer error. I shall no longer write on this wall. I have never, nor shall I ever enter comments to the Senators Facebook wall at an hour such as the one displayed. The implications speaks for themeselves.
Respectfully,
