For over 10 years the UDCMS has provided private study lessons, early childhood classes, ensemble classes, and summer camps for more than 500 students a year. Each year we strive to add new and exciting offerings to our list of classes and camps.

University of Delaware Community Music School There is still room in our Guitar Ensemble and our Steel Pan class entitled Peace, Love, and Pan Youth Steel Band. If you know anyone that loves guitar or steel pan, please let them know about these classes.

The concert will feature world-renowned xylophonist Bob Becker, UD faculty member, Harvey Price, and members of the ninth annual Bob Becker Ragtime Xylophone Institute being held this year from July 27-August 1 at the University. Participants in the institute travel from all over the world to work on the art of Ragtim...e Xylophone interpretation and improvisation. Tickets for the event are $5 (Cash or Check only) and will be available only at the door.Read More
