Surely only the oldest of our readers will know that reference to bananas<smile>; anyway, it connotes that we say we have something but we really don’t — namely, Dana is not yet caught up the fabric section so alot are marked ’sold’...


Thanks to all who came out to see us at the WilmingtonFlower Market. We met more new Japanese textile enthusiasts and even a few yokodana.com site visitors stopped by to say hello. We love that...


Schedule info due to flower market (see yesterday’s blog), we will not be able to ship anything until next week. Will be checking secure order logs and emails in the evening but no shipments can go out until starting Tuesday, May 12t

What a weekend! In DC there had to be easily 250,000 people at the DC Cherry Blossom Festival — and alot of them visited us! Had a great day — aside from the gales that kept blowing things away — met alot of web site visitors and a few members, and hopefully made other new friends...


We’ll be also doing the Subaru Sakura Sunday Cherry Blossom Festival run by the Japan American Society of Greater Philadelphia (JASGP). Events of this festival run for 2 weeks, with the Sakura Sunday being the the final main event...


We’re still working feverishly to be sure we have as much fabric etc for this Saturday’s Cherry Blossom Street Festival in Washington DC as we can...


Wow, what a great time we had at the Urban Inspirations quilt show at the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC this past weekend! We were happy to see some of our New York City area “regulars” whom we hadn’t seen since our last Fort Washington (PA) show a few years ago...

We wish everyone a good year in 2009. We had our blog down for a few days for some upgrades, in case you were looking for us. Shipping Schedule as of January 19, 2009: We’ve both been under the weather so any order received since January 15th will be delayed...


After a much needed extended vacation we’re back and raring to go, full of ‘vim, vigor and vitality’ as my Dad used to say :}. SHIPPING SCHEDULE: The orders received since December 22nd will begin shipping tomorrow (Tues. January6)...


We’ve decided to take some extra vacation this year. Orders received by 9:00AM (Eastern USA) on December 23rd will ship by December 24th; Shipments will resume January 5, 2009, shipping in order received. It’s amazing that 2008 is at an end already...


We’ve been quiet here because we’re busy filling orders (thankfully of course). Dana is still trying to get the fabric section updated in between shipments and babysitting the grandkids and hopes to complete that soon ( I know, that’s what he said last month…:D )...

We’re back partially starting today. Thanks to so many of you who wrote us offering condolences — we really appreciated that. All orders received during our absence have been shipped. We also are going to try 2 new venues at craft shows near us in Delaware...


We are closed temporarily due to death in the family. All messages will be responded to upon our return. We expect to be open for business on Wednesday, September 24th.


In spite of a washout on Saturday, we had a great festival on Sunday. The weather was perfect and the festival itself was so wonderful that it is one of those that we almost wished we weren’t working so we could enjoy it fully...
