If someone attempts to gain entry to your home, call 911, holler for ...help, set off your car alarm if possible and take appropriate steps to protect yourself from harm.

Be careful when making internet purchases, it is best if you are buying things such as an automobile, boat, or other large purchases to physically inspect what you are purchasing before you put the money down. The officers working the road this holiday season would just as soon not have to take anyone to jail. or worse yet notify a family that someone has been killed in a vehicle crash. If you are going to drink, make sure that someone else is doing the driving.

Brett Kruse for Sheriff Criminals look for easy victims, people who are not paying attention to their surroundings. When you are in a crowd of people always maintain a circle of awareness. Keep an eye out for anyone who seperates himself by his behavior, dress, or his manner. If this person gets your attention, listen to your intuition and seperate yourself from danger.
