FOR 2009
Eisen Only Firm in Cincinnati to Earn Platinum
Honor in One of Industries Top Competitions
Cincinnati, OH – October 29, 2009
– Another notch
in Cincinnati’s belt laying claim as one of the top marketing cities in the
country, as its largest public relations firm, Eisen Marketing Grou...p, was today
honored with two Platinum MarCom Awards in the 2009 international competition.
Eisen was
the only firm in Greater Cincinnati to earn a Platinum MarCom. In fact,
Cincinnati’s highest rated firm took home two Platinum Awards – one for the
media kit developed for Eagle Coach Company, and another for the book promotion
developed for Roto-Rooter, the aptly titled bathroom reader “Chilling Tales From the Porcelain Seat.”
EMG also took home Gold honors for its collateral development for The Center
for Rural Development and received honorable mentions for the brand development
of the Over the Rhine Foundation and the communications plan for Roto-Rooter.
There
were almost 5,000 entries from various MarCom Awards is administered and judged
by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The
international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals.
The Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges and
sets standards for excellence. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and
supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique
talents to public service and charitable organizations.
Winners
were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication
efforts- marketing, publications, marketing/promotion, public service/pro bono,
creativity and electronic/interactive. About 18 percent of the entries won the
Platinum Award, the organization’s top honor. A complete list of Platinum
