We are a families and couples only park about 3/4 mile away from Mawgan Porth Beach and are not that far from Newquay, we have a strick 10:30 silence policy.

Sun Haven Valley Holiday Park We are very concerened about the showers, last year we put in some water conservative shower heads for the David Belamy award however that has caused havok with the boiler and so we spent 3 or 4 hours that day working (when they stopped working) to find out what was wrong with them and we have spent even more time searching for a pump to get the heat of the showers right so small children can have showers in them.

Whats going on - part 2
David, our builder, is constructing a rain-cover to the wash-up area - which of course will prove to be totally unecessary as we are going to have a heatwave of a summer; our plumber is installing pumps to pressurise the main showers & will be also installing new improved-spray-water-saving s...hower heads.
The wireless internet system has been changed & the service seems to be considerbaly improved & by Whitsun we should have internet access pc's in the games room as well as in reception ( to give Mum & Dad a little peace & quiet)
Besides which of course we have started the annual round of painting, weeding, planting & grass care so that Sun Haven Valley looks as good as ever for your 2009 visit.Read More

March already & only 4 weeks to opening - the time of year when everyone thinks we stopped work !! - So whats really going on ?
Well newer caravans arriving: - the old "group 6 pet vans" at the bottom of the field have been upgraded to larger 2 bedroomed (32 x 12ft ) caravans with double glazing & elsewhere th...ere are 2 more of the ever popular "Westmorlands" being installed as replacements.
All the caravans now have 19" (or bigger) tv's with a DVD and access to our free-use DVD collection, the book library has been renewed and all will shortly be housed in our new information room which will hopefully have a meaningful display on where to go & what to do ( and where to get those important discounts/repeat visits for free )
