Newton

Newton hails from Port Elizabeth and was formed in June 2004. In November we competed in the Global battle of the Bands and ended up 6th in South Africa. New Years eve 2005 Newton won a National battle of the bands, the prize included a demo recording of one track, together with a music video.

In 2006, back in Port Elizabeth, we were the local house band for a PE venue, we had the opportunity to share the stage with all the big SA Rock acts that toured through the city.

Relocating to Pretoria in 2007, gave us a chance to come up with fresh ideas, thus giving birth to our first offering to the world of music, Whales and Fishbowls.

Plans to move to the UK are in motion. Newton will set foot out of South Africa by Dec 2008. (read less)
