Nigel Lamb The Breitling Racing Team wishes everyone all the best for 2010 and a huge 'Thank you' for all the support during 2009. We hope to see some of you at the races next year and, for those who can't get away, one of my NY resolutions is to be better at blogging and twittering etc so I hope we can keep you well informed throughout the season. Happy New Year!

Nigel Lamb We've all had a brilliant Christmas. Time to gather strength for the 31st. Craig Andrews surfaced today and is primed to get stuck in to the MXS mods starting on Saturday. A big relief as there's so much to get done. Thanks Craig! Becci's having fun skiing ... I hope!

Thanks a lot Mike. We have a lot going on with the MXS so let's hope we're on the right track for 2010. We'll only know once we get to the first race in Abu Dhabi in March. Best wishes for 2010.

Nigel Lamb Epic missions on the roads yesterday.. my 4 hrs in the snow from a Gatwick meeting was eclipsed by Hilary and the boys doing a "quick trip to the local shops" in High Wycombe and arriving home 8 hrs later at 2230. Today will be more chaos on the roads around here. Be good to stay at home but there's no food or drink so... ... time to dig out the chains and survival gear!

It's a snapshot of life.. there's always someone worse off (30degrees at Christmas - how can you possibly make a snowman in 30 degrees?!!) and someone better off .. 21inches of SNOW!! (except for all that shovelling I guess.)

Nigel Lamb The boys are just back from school where they didn't do much work. Since I insisted they go, that's not done much for my popularity but, as I watched them head off into the village looking for suitable (or not) targets, I did get the distinct impression they'd forgiven me already. Must be that impervious Christmas spirit!

Nigel Lamb Not a popular Dad today!! Lots of overnight snow .. boys ignored breakfast and focused on the radio and websites praying for their schools to close. Schools stayed open... though they cunningly 'missed' the bus. Luckily, their intrepid father offered to drive them in so they missed most of the massive snowball fight wi...th the 'lucky ones off school'. Bad luck chaps but we did sign a contract with the school..sorry!

I can't believe we've still not managed to have a drink together Butch. Don't you pass this way at all? Today'd be a bad day though as the motorway is shut both ways....all it takes is a few inches of snow! Have a good Christmas and let's make a plan for 2010.

Nigel Lamb We really enjoyed meeting the students at Bath University last night. The Q & A went on for an hour and a half. Don't they sleep in Bath? Enthusiastic, enquiring and very bright minds asking probing, relevant questions every time. Great for our sport. Plenty of aviation passion in the room too. Most invigorating.
