Nikita's Wish
Bear is a special Rottie boy who came from the pound. He was surrendered by his owners at age 8 and with many health problems. He had a bad and untreated flea allergy, arthritis, and upper respiratory infection, eye infection, and a tumor on his head.
We have worked hard on all of his ailments and he is doing much bett...er! His tumor was removed (thanks to kind donations) on November 3rd. You can see his shaved head, post-surgery, in these pictures.

Nikita's Wish Great news! Bear had his surgery yesterday and everything went great! They found out, after removing the lump, that it was a cyst and not cancerous! Bear has a shaved head and a lot of stitches, but is in good spirits. The volunteers and Bear want to give a big THANK YOU to everyone who donated, prayed for Bear, and sent good thoughts his way! We could not do what we do for the animals in need without your support.

If you know anyone who would like to donate to a great cause please tell them to consider helping Bear! He needs a growth removed and we need to raise funds to pay his surgery bill. We can also use prayers and good thoughts sent his way! :-)

Nikita's Wish Eventhough we didn't even get an honorable mention at the Balloon a Fair parade we placed FIRST at the Apple Cider Festival! YAY!
Nikita's Wish We had a fun time having a float in the parade and a booth downtown. We did everything with our friends Parrot Hope Rescue! (www.parrothope.org)

On Saturday we will be in the Balloon-a-Fair parade in Ravenna, and we will have a booth during the day long event in downtown.

We will also be at Pawfest at Bow Wow Beach in Stow, OH on Sunday from 10 to 5. This event will be at Silver Springs Park. The address is 5027 Stow Rd, Stow, OH.

Nikita's Wish Come out and see us at Skunkfest! We will be there with our friends Parrot Hope (www.parrothope.org). Skunkfest is Saturday, September 12, from 10a-5p at: South Central Park - 7565 Avon Belden Rd, North Ridgeville, Ohio.
Nikita's Wish If I have counted correctly~Nikita's Wish has adopted out 1~ Bird 9 ~cats 43 ~dogs 5 ~rabbits 55 ~rats 10~ Guinea Pigs 2 ~Hamsters and~ 2 ~Ferrets = 127 animals....but I think that is off?? Amy, Andy, ?? Adoptions have been REALLLYYYYY SLOW this year but??
