Stevie AKA NineLivez is a young talent in the local scene. His honest reflection of the life through his lyrics along with a natural flow and delivery quickly won the respect of his peers.
NineLivez has had an ear for music his whole life. At just 9 years old NineLivez has begun to play the 6 string guitar with the instruction from his father Elvis Erasmus. After his fathers passing NineLivez gave up the guitar. Growing up during this time NineLivez experienced the ugly realities of street life. Not wanting to follow a path many before went NineLivez knew he needed another way to express his thoughts and emotions. What started from simple poetry quickly evolved into rap music.
NineLivez knew that music was his savior and his chance to change the path he was on. Friends of local emcees, NineLivez was quickly intoduced to the scene and unlike many others began performing live only months after first recording. It was his thrust in the spotlight so soon that developed NineLivez quickly and showed him the realities and dedication music requires. NineLivez was quickly recognized and welcomed into the Grim Empire. Consisting of local emcees Brothers Grim, Kryple, Trippz, Stripes, NineLivez and K-Blitz, Grim Empire is an up and coming crew consistently a face in local performances dedicated to the art of Hip-Hop. Clothing, videos, photo shoots, Grim Empire is taking all the right steps to success.
NineLivez first solo album ‘Son of Sin’ has just been completed and release date is in the works. NineLives will also be featured on the upcoming Grim Empire ‘The Future’ mixtape releases as well as the official Grim Empire album ‘Future Is Grim’ (read less)
