Cathy Roth Do we have a program set up for Teen Driving Safey. I know California State PTA passed a resolution on Teen Driving this last convention but do we have a program in place. In light of what has happen this last month on losing two young people, we need to step up and help our teens. It is so heartbreaking to see this... still happening. Please share on what we can be doing or if you have a program at your school.

FYI - "BLOW" - dried powdered energy drink available on line - packaged and shipped to resemble cocaine use, complete with a mirror and razor blade _ targeting guess who...........Our Children! What a sad message to be norming ~. We as parents and advocates of children are disgusted by this... type of advertising that exploits our children and should be making our voices heard against these types of companies. Remember - Every Child, ONE VOICE.
Ninth District PTA Senator Mark Wyland of the 38th District is proposing change in the State's curriculum to include a more comprehensive and meaningful understanding of Civics. Please refer to the link provided to learn more. We live in a great nation built on democracy, yet we are inadequately taught how to be democratic. Our election ...participation statistics show weak interest in the process as well. We need to better equip our kids with tools and the understanding of how to effectively live and participate in a capitalistic democracy. We want to hear your thoughts.
