Falls are a major cause of injury to seniors and the risk increases with age. This educational program will present an overview of activities and exercises to improve balance, strengthen bones and reduce the risk of fall related injury. Our speaker is Laura Monthie, RN/MSW. This program is free and open to the publi...c. Lunch follows at noon with a suggested donation of $3.25 for people over 60 and a $6.00 fee for those under 60. The menu is salmon with soy sauce and ginger, rice pilaf, vegetables, challah and cake. Reservations are required for lunch at least 2 days in advance by calling Diane Frank at 377-8803.Read More

Featuring: Animals from the Ashville Zoo including: a tortoise, alligator, birds, a snak...e, a monkey and even a baby kangaroo!!!
Cost: $4 per person, $10 per family. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No advance ticket purchasing. Tickets will be sold at the door.
