Bridgton Academy Counting today- five class days until Thanksgiving break, after that 11 class days and three testing days left in the first semester. The class of 2010 is almost half way there. We have Chapel today and we are sure to hear Mr. Gately's sage advice, "don't count the days, make the days count." Any advice from the Alumni for the current class?

Bridgton Academy I tried explaining the fact that we are currently experiencing unseasonably warm weather to a couple students today when I overheard one of them say, "everyone told me it gets cold in Maine, if this is cold then I don't even need a heavy coat this winter."

Bridgton Academy Disappointed to find out the soccer team didn’t make the NEPSAC Class A tournament after an undefeated season. The team had a fantastic year and a lot to be proud of.

Bridgton Academy Fire wood for the Outing Club Cabin has been getting cut and stacked this week, thanks to the soccer team. Add some cold weather, snow and ice and the boys will be in for an authentic Maine winter experience. I'm sure a number of you have fond memories of the Cabin.

Bridgton Academy Final game of the football season this Saturday at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH at noon. There will be an Alumni and Admission event going on as well- a great chance to meet up with current, future, and past BA students! An interesting fact- the Hawks roster currently lists four players that are BA alumni and the head and assistant coach are both BA alumni.

Bridgton Academy Congratulations to Ken Brock (Burlington, NJ) for being selected as Athlete of the Month for October. Here BA Strength and Conditioning Coach- Joe Sawicki presents Brock with the Athlete of the Month t-shirt after this mornings Chapel. Congrats to Brock.

Bridgton Academy Trivia question- when was the last time Wolverine Soccer went undefeated in the regular season? The Wolverines finished this regular season 14-0-1. Playoffs start next Wednesday, November 18th.
