On any given night, there are over 12,500 homeless individuals in North Carolina. In cities across our state, we pass people sleeping on benches and we notice lines at shelters, yet the stories, faces and experiences of the individuals are often lost in the shuffle. This exhibit illuminates the people experiencing ho...melessness, and brings us closer to what it means to be homeless and what it means to overcome it.
Join us for the opening reception and debut of Finding Home, a photo essay project that explores homelessness in NC. If you can't make it to the reception on the 7th, stop by the Morning Times gallery anytime until the end of August to see the exhibit. Hope to see you there!

It is critical that elected officials hear from folks in their communities about the importance of public programs and services so they can make budget decisions that support communities and families and do not undermine the state's economic recovery.
