Good morning weather warriors! I have a question for you guys: whats the deal with the strage temp/humidity gradients this morning? Looking at the cams it is pretty much completely clear, and humidities relatively equal except around 3300-4000'. What I think is strangest is that the warmest air on the mountain is at 43...00'. How does this work? Why does it set up like this???

Exciting things on the summit today: we're hosting a production company who's filming for a show that will air on the History Channel. Can't say more about it before it airs (A&E owns the intellectual property!), but Observatory members can watch a behind-the-scenes account on this coming Monday's Obscast video blog!
