Hi Rachel,
Thanks for doing research on the Food Bank! All of our facts can be found on our website, www.ntfb.org. A major misconception is that individuals can come directly to the Food Bank and receive food. The fact is that we partner with 260 Member Agencies that consist of pantries, churches and schools, and they get the food from the Food Bank and distribute to their clients. We are a distribution center so when people come looking for food, we direct them to a Member Agency in their area.
We strive to provide the best, nutritious products. And we also receive food donations from companies such as Tyson Foods and Mrs. Baird's.
