Northern California Screenwriters Right now, we're in the middle of pre-preproductioin of a daily, 30 minute talk show. Met with director Carl Hamilton, producer Sabrina Molinari, and great sales gal - Hollywood Wanda yesterday. We will be producing 3-5 minute comedy shorts - similar to SNL, and a talk show (unusual format) that I think is going to be a lot of fun.
Northern California Screenwriters Wow! What a great Box Office weekend! Does anyone know what the theaters pulled in this weekend? Yes, the boys and their Sci-fi won again, but look at the rest!
Northern California Screenwriters Merry Christmas everyone!!! This weekend, don't forget to go to the theaters to see "It's Complicated." This is a new film by the brilliant Nancy Meyer - "Parenthood", "Father of the Bride", & "Something's Gotta Give." Remember, if we want to see more intelligent and delightful movies like this in the future, we've got... to support filmmakers like Nancy! So go see it and tell us what you think! we'll be waiting! : )

Northern California Screenwriters We're making lots of headway with the Expo in March and getting things lined up. Thank you, Paul Walker for volunteering to come to the Expo and for taking up the golf cart challenge! Walker has some serious competition with Stephen Bender, Dakota Fanning and Jack Black though. (Warning: Stephen has his own pit crew!)

Presenters include: Hollywood agent, Barbara Bitela; Justin Jacquemotte from Quentin Tarantino's office; & Tony Seiniger - Jaws, Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark; The Godfather, Rocky, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Moon...struck, and too many others to mention!
