Northern New England Down Syndrome Congress MUST RSVP Angela Lombardo 857-218-4329

This talk will focus on learning behavioral and parenting strategies which are helpful in managing the behavior problems of all children, with a specific focus on the unique needs of children with Down syndrome. The over-arching theme of this talk will be to enhance parents' un...derstanding of their child's developmental level and how this impacts behavior and informs which behavioral and parenting strategies will be most effective. Techniques which are based on the latest research and standards of practice will be reviewed in a practical and accessible manner. Additional resources will also be discussed so that parents may learn more about the topics covered.
