will check out the games suggested. Who's excited for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2? To relate this back to murder: Legally, a soldier who kills an enemy isn't murdering the enemy. What are your thoughts on that?

I'm an Infantry Rifleman in the Marines Corps. And I have seen the enemy being killed and the enemy being murdered, the Marine that murdered 3 Iraqi farmers is now serving time in the Brig, they all three had weapons and they appeared mad, and he couldn't understand what they were saying. He raised his rifle to give a visual warning, they raised

there's and that's when he fired, that would usually be considered a legal killing because his life was threatened but due to the fact that we are watched like hawks and because of what a few men have done in the past we have to think (even while we're getting shot at) if I kill this man/woman will I be punished, am I following all the rules of engagement and using proper escalation of force and not until I know I am will I raise my weapon and pull the trigger. And hope that nobody sees it as an illegal killing/murder. But when a man In the civilian world murders a man because of a crime of passion... An unarmed man that didn't have it coming or see it coming that's an entirely different thing. That is murder no doubt about it, but in Iraq or Afghanistan where I'll be going in less than 3 weeks we are held under almost the same rules anymore. You may hear about a Marine or Soldier "murdering" a man in the Afghanistan but through his eye he was protecting himself and his Marines not just Murdering somone that did something he disagreed with.
Until you go over there and until you have a weapon pointed at you, or man wearing a suicide vest running at you, you won't ever truly know how it feels and I guarentee you would have done the same as the Marine mentioned earlier. I know I would have and if I was a block closer I probably would have helped that Marine... So just don't start to compare unless you've been there or and done what we're done.....
And I'm saying Infantry Marines and Soldiers, not cooks and admin legal guys that's pretty much the same as being a civilian when pertaining to what I'm talking about.

Cameron Ahola, I was just generating a discussion, I didn't make a stand on it but I do agree with you. Sorry if you were offended and I do support the troops.
