Not being eaten by bears

I saw 2 saturday at my friends house

that doesnt mean they didn't see you.....

I go to the catskills every year and never get to see bears. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

Neither did the governor of South Carolina on his "camping trip."

My dog rolled in a giant pile of bear poo today.

Going hiking on the JOhn Muir trail in Cali, in a week, I could meet some bears...yeah!

I recently returned from camping too! Hiking out of the woods, trailing behind the others due to a blister on my foot...I realized that it was MY backpack carrying the half eaten cheeze whiz....I wondered to myself if anyone would hear me screaming for help if I saw a bear...but then wondered....hmmm.. if a bear took off my whole head with the first swipe..could they hear me screaming from just my neck hole???....That's when I thought of you and walked faster...*hugs*

I watched a ranger scare one away, it was AWESOME AS HELL.

just be thankfull that bears dont break into your car and rip it to shreds, like they do up here in ak

I live in Bangkok and thus far have yet to be attacked by bears due to my canny survival skills learned from TV.

I camped in a freaking cabin this week because the last time I went this damn bear sniffed around my tent all night. I think it was a bear anyway because when I hollered to scare it off the footsteps went "thum-thum-thump" like a large animal. It was dark and I wasn't going to invite whatever it was in so I am not 100 percent sure!

I saw one in my back yard the other day with its cub.

I recently was bit by a bear. right in the giblets.

I saw one in Pagosa Springs, quickly got back in the car, thankfully he was more interested in eating out of the dumpster. Then saw one in Creed up in a tree.

BTW, not seeing any bears means you saw bears but they saw you first..

It is easy not to be eaten by bears, all you need to do is run faster than your friend ...
